Check your notebook and make sure it comes with a USB port which the EDGE modem requires.

Insert SIM card correctly, make sure your SIM Card supports EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks; please pay attention to the indentation of the SIM card when inserting it.

Turn on your computer and insert EDGE modem into a free slot/port; the installation process will start automatically; follow the on-screen instructions to complete driver installation.

You can connect to the Internet, make a call and send a message by clicking the EDGE icon on your desktop.
